My Fruitful Voyage thru Womanhood

Archives for September, 2010

When you get to talking about superheros and which one is the best, my favorite would have to be Superman. I love to watch the old episodes on direct tv deals with my young son whenever I can. First of all, Superman was cool because he didn’t need a side-kick like Batman did. He could do it all, all by himself. Secondly, he had a cool All-American outfit with his red, white & blue. Everyone knew that you didn’t mess around with that. He had all the great powers like x-ray vision, extraordinary speed and the ability to fly.

When it came down to it, he only had one weakness, kryptonite. And really, how often, other than in cartoons, do you really run into kryptonite in your daily life? He was made all the more human though through his love of Lois Lane. While some may say that was a weakness, I disagree. It made his alter-ego, Clark Kent happy and that in turn kept Superman happy. Now, if Lois could just keep herself out of trouble, Superman could spend more time patrolling the earth. The cartoon series also had some great supporting characters too, with Perry White, the grumpy old editor and Jimmy Olson, the young photographer. The world of the Daily Planet kept us just as interested as Superman’s fighting bad guys.

Our New Baby :)

The husband and I decided to buy this “AB ROCKET”
ab

We bought it for the purpose of trimming our fatty abs! lol! Yup! Unfortunately, we’re one of the less fortunate individual who has a bigger tummy than our chest. Lol!

We also thought that this could help us sweat a bit and give us a healthier body. Since, we work in front of the computer all the time, sweating is quite remotely to happen and sitting the whole day is a bad example of exercise.

Oh well, I just hope exercising at home will work on us. :)

I really want a vacation right now! I am pertaining to a GRAND vacation! Urgh! I just hate this.

I’m not feeling well as of this moment because I have this pest bugging me from time to time plus a bad call from my mom. She’s not feeling well again and she’s not thinking very well too.  I couldn’t blame her especially if she’s feeling different kinds of pains and bleeding.

Well, she’s not really bleeding – she is experiencing spotting. I’ll be elaborating on that matter on my next post. What I really want to reiterate here is I need a rest and away from all the stresses of my world. The only problem is my money is not enough for a grand getaway. If only my boss can give me a bigger cash advance, I will immediately have ourselves booked! Lol! (*hoping*) ;)

I Need to Rejuvenate

I was browsing the internet for some skin products that will help rejuvenate my skin.

You see, since I reach the age of 30, I noticed that my face became dry and develop fine lines especially below my eyes. At first, I wasn’t that worried because I know it will soon go away or it wasn’t noticeable at all. But after a month, one of my office mate uttered that I’m developing wrinkles! I got frightened and went home uneasy. When I arrived at the house that afternoon, I immediately ask my husband and ask him if he can see any wrinkles on my face. He said yes! But it doesn’t matter! It matters to me! Urgh! I know my husband was telling me that to feel better and not to worry much of my deteriorating youth. But hell, I’m won’t take this one sitting and not do something.

I couldn’t believe at this early age of 30, I’m beginning to experience an aging issue. Though if I’m not mistaken this is the age where aging problems like wrinkles and dryness begins, though not this rapid. Maybe my aging problems started off with the stresses I’m experiencing at work and at home and also because of my unhealthy eating habits as well. Urgh! What can I do? I really can’t control myself when I see junk foods! :)

Oh well, I really have to change my diet and drink a lot of water to bring back the smoothness of my skin. I really have to work on this before its too late and maybe some effective skin products might also help. We’ll see! For now, I still have to read reviews and testimonies plus look into the product before buying it. It’s better to be sure than to be sorry at the end especially if it’s my skin we’re talking about.

It isn’t that our first honeymoon wasn’t wonderful. It was. But I was still in school and it wasn’t like we had a lot of money to burn. So this time, we decided to really live it up. We both wanted to go to Italy, so we started watching some of the shows on Satellite TV that gave us some ideas on what we could do on the trip. I had no idea that there was just so much to see and do.

We flew over on a Monday and stayed a little under two weeks. We both thought that to take a trip like this, we really needed to set aside a pretty good chunk of time. Once we got there, it was pretty easy to get to some of the surrounding countries by train. We ended up all over the place, taking in the museums and historical sites. There was just so much culture everywhere we went.

We got back last week and I think we both agree that we just have to go back. I’m thinking when the kids are a little older and they are more able to appreicate all that we would see, we can go back as a familly.
