SubscribeToday we remember all our departed love ones. As Catholics, we consider this day as a very important one because traditionally we go to the cemeteries to visit our love ones who had died.
Like we usually do, we visit our grandfather’s grave every year. We start off by cleaning the place, and then we buy flowers and candles and place them on All Saint’s day. We set-up a mat on the grass and have a fun picnic with the family.
Somehow, All Saint’s day is also a bonding time with the family. A mini-reunion to me. But at the same, it is also a time to commemorate and pray for the souls of our departed.
